“ Every breath is the heart beat of the Nation and Unity is the breath of the Nation”. Holy Cross Convent School, Dharmanagar proudly celebrated the 79th Independence Day of our Country. The celebration marked with a beautiful opening Dance paying homage to Mother India. Later Chief Guest Mrs. Jasna Kuruvilla A trainer and eminent Educationist from Kochin (Kerala ) hoisted the National Flag. She in her message called upon the gathering to create true patriotism and live as brothers and sisters considering the well being of everyone. 4 houses of the School Marched with dignity and honor. Thereafter a colourful cultural programme adorned the celebration. Students put up a special Dance Drama on women empowerment” which brought lot of applause and appreciation . The celebration reminded our responsibilities as citizens. The School Community pledged to build a strong, prosperous, and self-reliant India.
